About AutoMalaya OBD
A native iPhone app that turns raw OBD-II fault codes into clear, plain-English answers — so drivers in Malaysia can understand their car before the workshop and check a used car with confidence.
What we do
Connect a standard Bluetooth OBD-II adapter, scan your car, and get a health score, likely causes, repair priority, an approximate Malaysia cost range, and a shareable PDF report. A used-car mode produces a buyer-friendly inspection summary.
What we deliberately don’t do
Privacy first
The app is local-first: your vehicles, scans, and reports stay on your device by default. Optional iCloud sync uses your own private iCloud, never our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Honest by design
Diagnostics are based on available OBD-II data and do not replace inspection by a qualified mechanic. We avoid overclaiming: estimates are clearly labelled approximate, and the app explains its limitations.
